This scenic park along the Hackensack River was once a landfill. Now it offers a gorgeous bike trail, kayaking, dog park, and public restrooms. All along Euclid Avenue in Ridgefield Park you will find memorials commemorating the wars in which U.S. veterans defended our country. Lunch at Cafe Angelique, a French bistro with high quality food and pastries is a special treat. Return to Manhattan after one big climb on Churchill Road. Don't forget to take a look at the Churchill Nature Preserve on the way, where deer sometimes meander onto the street. 4/15/22/JB
